The Music Institute of Chicago, the oldest community music school in Illinois and one of the three oldest in the nation, offers a variety of opportunities for children and adults to enjoy music during the summer. Registration deadline is June 1, 2011 except where noted.

Festival founders/directors and MIC faculty members Claire Aebersold and Ralph Neiweem offer students
private and group coaching and the opportunity to perform in final recitals. Special concerts featuring MIC faculty and guest artists include Italian piano duo Elisabetta Dessi and Francesco Giammarco on July 8, Claire Aebersold and Ralph Neiweem on July 12, and a faculty duo piano extravaganza on July 15
