North Shore Alum Peter Callahan ’09 of Evanston took first place in the Flotrack/Husky Classic Mile on February 11, with a time of 3:58.72. This is the second sub 4-minute mile the Princeton University junior has recorded this month. According to Track & Field News Callahan earned himself spot #366 on the “U.S. Milers Who Have Broken 4:00 in the Mile” list. He is currently a provisional qualifier for the NCAA Indoor Championship Meet in March and looks to become an automatic qualifier by running a 3:57.9.
