NU Alumnae to Honor Founder of Guatemala Food Program
Sandy Neville Haggart will receive the Northwestern University Alumnae Award at 2 p.m. Oct. 3 at a public reception at Hardin Hall. Haggart created Feed the Dream, a program that teaches Guatemalans in remote villages about nutrition, hygeine, water purification and agriculture techniques and also provides them with meals.
