ZS Associates Elects Chris Wright New Managing Director
Global sales and marketing consulting firm ZS Associates announced today that Chris Wright has been elected by firm partners to the position of managing director.
Wright, 47, will assume his new role and responsibilities for a three-year term on July 1. After the founders, he is the firm’s second managing director and succeeds Jaideep Bajaj, who served the firm-maximum term, and was reelected to its board of directors.
Wright joined ZS Associates in 1989 and has held several leadership roles at the firm. Most recently, he was a regional managing principal of North America and managing principal of the firm’s global pharmaceuticals practice. During the last decade, Wright has also served in a number of executive management roles, including nine years on ZS' management advisory council. In 2010 Consulting magazine named him one of its Top 25 Consultants.

Clients double, revenue triples
A singular focus on sales and marketing — combined with successful introductions of new service offerings and software solutions, expansion into new markets and a global delivery model — has helped ZS more than double the number of clients it serves and triple its revenues since 2003.
“Jaideep has served us well for close to a decade and it’s an honor to follow him in this position,” Wright said. “He orchestrated our firm’s growth in management consulting, commercial operations and technology solutions for companies across a range of industries, including health care, technology, transportation, financial services and many others.”

Wright earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Indiana University and an MBA with honors from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
