Ethnic Arts Festival Brings International Flavor to Evanston

City hosts the annual arts festival Saturday, July 21, and Sunday, July 22, in Dawes Park, representing a myriad of cultures from around the world.

Take a trip around the world without leaving Evanston this weekend at the city's annual Ethnic Arts Fair.

Dozens of nations will be represented in song, dance, food and arts at the festival in Dawes Park. Juried artists display their works, and live music includes Toby Foyeh & Orchestra Africa, playing a fusion of traditional Nigerian Yoruba music with latin, jazz and pop.

The festival runs from noon to 7 p.m. Saturday, July 21, and Sunday, July 22, in Dawes Park, at the intersection of Sheridan Road and Church Street.
