Police said a 14-year-old boy forced a girl to perform a sex act in an ETHS stairwell.
Evanston police charged a 14-year-old boy with criminal sexual assault after police discovered that the student forced a 15-year-old girl to perform a sex act against her will Monday in a school stairwell, police said Tuesday.
An ETHS safety officer patrolling the hall during school hours discovered the boy and girl engaged in a sex act, the police press release said. Evanston Police Juvenile Bureau detectives and ETHS staff investigated the incident further, and police said they learned that the boy had physically forced the girl into the sexual encounter, the police statement said.
The offender, whose name is not being released due to his age, was taken to the Cook County Juvenile Detention Center, police said.
