Meet Hazel, The Cat With Heart
Each week we feature pets available for adoption from C.A.R.E. at Evanston's Animal Shelter.
Hazel's charmpoint--in addition to the fact that she is a Tortoiseshell cat and therefore A Real Individual--is her unique checkerboard face and brilliant green eyes.
C.A.R.E. volunteers note that Hazel "loves to be around people, loves to be petted and loves to hang out." To date, Hazel has not been much of a lap cat because she's got other things to do.
Hazel's idea of a good time would be looking out of your window and sleeping on your bed. "Cat beds are for cats, but people beds are for princesses, like me," Hazel declares.
