‘Money’ Names Evanston Top Place For Rich Singles
If you’re loaded and looking for love, Evanston is a great place to live, according to a recent ranking from CNN’s ‘Money Magazine.’ The city came in No. 11 among 25 places listed.
Are you rich and single? Apparently, you’ve picked the right place to live—or at least one of the best.
According to a ranking published by CNN’s Money Magazine, Evanston is the No. 11 best place to live if you’re rich and single.
Listing Evanston’s single population at 39.8 percent and median family income at $106, 873, Money editors described the city as a place known for its “left-leaning activism” and its nickname, “The People’s Republic of Evanston.”
Topping Evanston in the rankings were Boston suburbs Newton and Brookline; New York city’s “sixth borough,” Hoboken, NJ; D.C. suburb Arlington, VA; California’s Redondo Beach, Irvine and Mountain View; riverfront Sandy Springs, GA; Baltimore suburb Towson, MD; and Oak Park, IL.
