Thief Steals Laundry From Machine

The following arrests and incidents were reported by the Evanston Police Department

Man Arrested, Charged With Criminal Damage

Kimbrince Emanuel Wallace, 29, of the 800 block of Dobson Street in Evanston, was arrested and charged with criminal damage at the intersection of Howard Street and Custer Avenue at 2:43 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12, police reported. 

Car Burglar Breaks Window, Steals Purse

Someone stole a Lucky brand blue leather purse by breaking the car window of a 2008 Audi parked in the 1200 block of Church Street between 2:50 and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12, police reported. 

Attempted Car Burglary On Hinman

Someone entered an unlocked 2007 Honda that was parked in an apartment lot in the 900 block of Hinman Avenue between 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, and 8:02 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12, according to police. Nothing was stolen. 

Bikes Stolen on Chicago, Central, Garnett

Someone stole a Trek bicycle with brown spots and a rack on the back that was locked up in  the 1400 block of Chicago Avenue between 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, and 12:50 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12, according to police. 

Someone stole a purple Schwinn mountain bike from a garage in the 2600 block of Central Street around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12, police reported 

A man stole a Takata biycle with yellow tires that was locked to a porch in the 1100 block of Garnett Place around 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, according to police. 

Laundry Stolen From Machine

Someone stole pants and t-shirts from a laundry machine in the common area of an apartment building in the 300 block of Ridge Avenue between 8 and 9 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12, according to police.

Cash Stolen From Gym Locker

Someone stole cash from a secured gym locker in the 1600 block of Sherman Avenue between 12:45 and 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12, according to police.
