Vote for your favorite in our weekly Readers' Choice series.
Mark your calendar for brunch (or breakfast in bed) Sunday, May 13, because it's Mother's Day.
There are plenty of options when it comes to taking Mom out for brunch in Evanston. Whether she prefers French toast and waffles or omelettes and bacon, you're sure to find something to please that special lady.
So for this week’s Readers’ Choice, we’re asking locals the question: what's your preferred spot to take mom to for Mother's Day brunch?

Walker Brothers Original Pancake House on Green Bay Rd is the best by far!

Hi Fran, thanks for writing in. Unfortunately, that is just beyond Evanston's borders, otherwise I would have included it. Those Apple pancakes and cheesy hash browns are excellent.

I'll take the Dixie Kitchen over any of these -- including Walker Brothers -- any day of the week and twice on Sundays! Yummmmmm grits.
