Most of us define our personal reality by lining it up with the reality currently offered by mass media, the corporate financial political matrix, mainstream religion and schooling systems. As we become more and more convinced that these structures have failed us as individuals and as a society, we may worry about what's next.
In the words of one American President who displayed real leadership, which is tragically rare in today's world of "lesser of two evils" campaigns, all we have to fear is fear itself.
The institutions we used to take for granted are now crumbling and growing desparate. However, what cannot last will not last. All things must pass away eventually, but bearing witness to it can be rather hair raising. The Euro may go soon, and now that large global economies like China, India and Brazil are taking steps to abandon the once almighty dollar, and the Federal Reserve most likely gears up to print more funny money, the dollar too may pass away. When money dies, well, dear reader, it will not be easy, but it will be interesting.
The Catholic Church and sports organizations that protect child rapists, the pension fund issue which pits already struggling private workers and tax payers against state workers and retirees, people losing money they entrust to financial firms like MFGlobal or ponzi scheme sharks, the bigger than life investment banks which continue to menace the world with outrageously sleezy practices allowing them to pay a pittance for stealing a fortune and place their boys (they are NOT men) in the president's cabinet...children drugged from a young age and relentlessly vaccinated enriching a highly suspect pharmaceutical industry...what's going on here?
I don't mean to sound hopeless. I am not. I believe human beings are pretty amazing, and that we have just begun to learn about the powers that lie hidden within our own minds. Those of us willing to step into a visionary mode will be the ones to lay the ground work for a new world. It won't be quick, but it has to happen. What we have isn't working, and we all pretty much know it by now.
Enjoy this series. Listen more than once. Spread it around. And Thanks!

June - those who read your latest blog may dismiss it as mad or deluded. It isn't. This is what one spiritual leader (Paramahansa Yogananda) said in a speech in 1940:
"...a great crisis is going to come, a crisis as never before has hit this country, because the emphasis now is on spending and on increasing taxation. When all the false prosperity collapses, what will you do? There will be millions unemployed. Most are now living in blissful oblivion, unaware of the impending emergency.
"There is a world revolution going on. It will change the financial system. In the karmic firmament of America I see one beautiful sign: that no matter what the world goes through, she will be better off than most other countries. But America will experience worldwide misery, suffering, and changes just the same. You are used to the better things of life, and when you are obliged to simply, you won't like it. It is not easy to be poor after being rich. You have no idea how this change is going to affect you through the years. Never before in the history of this land has there been so deep a contrast in living standards as will visit this country - the contrast between riches and poverty."
Clearly, much of what this Spiritual leader predicted has come to pass and continues to consume us.
And so, June, you are not alone in your warning. I hope people are listening.

June (and Eric), as I was reading the column, I suddenly got a sudder up my spine. I see the same thing too, which is why having my home foreclosed on didn't bother me that much. Everybody is going to lose their homes soon.
There are reports that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is purchasing 1.5 billion rounds of ammo and not just any ammo, but hollow-point ammo. Despite the explanation that this is just a routine purchase of ammo, that's five rounds for every man, woman and child in America. Imagine the DHS using hollow point ammo on American citizens.
You may find this article on the American Thinker website this morning interesting:
http://www.americanthinker.com/2012/08/will_obama_keep_power_by_any_means_necessary.html
Will there actually be an election in early November? I'm not so sure. As I have said before, the only difference between Obama and Castro is the beard and the uniform. I sure hope I'm wrong.

Everybody is going to lose their homes soon? Does that include all in the Romney collection? I'm very secure with my home, as are my relatives and most of my friends. Your hyperbole Rich is nothing but that- unrealistic hyperbole.

Sully: "I'm very secure with my home, as are my relatives and most of my friends."
Apparently you didn't read June's article, Sully. The "house is on fire". You can blame Bush or you can blame Obama, but it doesn't change the fact that there is a fire and the house is burning down. When the value of the dollar collapses, you too will be bankrupt. It's happened before-Germany in the 1920's and you saw what happened.
If Obama is re-elected, there is no hope. If Romney is elected, there is a very good chance that there still is no hope. In other words, America is going to come flying apart, regardless of whether Obama or Romney wins the election.
And that's why Homeland Security is buying 1.5 billion (yes, billion) rounds of ammo.
Hope I'm wrong.

I meant that in all sincerity, Rich. You live life scared You believe everything is all good or all bad with no in-betweens. You sit in front of your computer and do nothing but post political nonsense. You feel hopeless, so posting is the only way you can feel in control. You listen to right wing pundits who confirm every belief you already hold, so you get security from that. Maybe you can think for yourself but you're too scared of what you might find out. Too bad.

Sully is like a little puppy following me around on Patch. He's a paid Democrat operative. The purpose of his posts is to try to get me to stop posting on Patch. He's been trying to do that for over a year now. Sorry, Sully ain't going to work.
Hopeless, not me. The people who feel hopeless are the Obama voters. Obama promised them "Hope and Change" and they believed that b.s. Although the next few months could be very rocky and it's very possible that civil war could even break out, America's future is still quite bright. To paraphrase Lincoln, "a new birth of freedom" is about to break out.
The oil and gas resources found in America mean that America will once again be a prosperous nation (if we are permitted to develop those resources).
My suggestion about how to break the political stalemate is for the red states and blue states to get a divorce. In other words, peaceful secesson. The blue states can have Washington, DC-we don't want it. The red state capital can be Austin, Texas.
So the blue states can do their socialist/marxist thing and the red states can do our conservative thing. Since the blue states don't believe in buring oil and gas, we'll sell the oil and gas in the Plain States to other countries and the blue states can go back to using horses and mules for transportation.
Nothing like horse manure in the streets of the blue states.

Oh, and that 1.5 billion rounds of hollow-point ammo that the Department of Homeland Security is buying, that's for the Obama Administration to use on American citizens after Obama loses the election.
The only question is which side the American military will take-the Obama Administration side or the conservative side. I'm betting that the US Army is not going to back the Commander-in-Chief against real Americans.
At least the next few months will be interesting.

You are really sick, Richard. That's why I don't give my real name. So people like you, who doesn't live in reality and is constantly angry, don't come after me or my family. It's a good thing you don't own a gun (or at least you say you don't). Enjoy your paranoia.

The reason that you don't give your real name is because you want to make vile, vicious and obnoxious comments on Patch. You're the one who follows me around on Patch to make nasty remarks and you're the guy who supports the thug government practiced in Chicago and the County of Crook.
Look in the mirror if you want to see a thug.

You may find this interesting. Note the resemblance between Frank Marshall Davis (Communist USA Party) and Barack Obama.

"Dreams from My Real Father
A Story of Reds and Deception
At age 18, Barack Obama admittedly arrived at Occidental College a committed revolutionary Marxist. What was the source of Obama's foundation in Marxism? Throughout his 2008 Presidential campaign and term in office, questions have been raised regarding Barack Obama's family background, economic philosophy, and fundamental political ideology. Dreams from My Real Father is the alternative Barack Obama "autobiography," offering a divergent theory of what may have shaped our 44th President's life and politics."
The video on the link is very interesting.

I just Googled "Frank Marshal Davis" and "pictures" and came up with 1,390,000 hits. The story that Frank Marshal Davis, Communist Party USA member, is actually Barack Obama's father is definitely out there.
Combine this with Dinesh D'Souza's documentary about Barack Obama titled "2016" and that should pretty much be the end of the Obama re-election bid.
The D'Souza's documentary is showing in the Chicago area. The theaters are packed. Information about 2016 can be found at:

The big question is what happens after Obama loses the election. There is a lot of time between election day and January 20, 2013. The next 5 months could be very frightening.

Yesterday morning, Sully had this to say on Patch:
"Look people, It's been established without doubt that Richard is paranoid delusional. His latest assertion, that Obama is building up an arsenal to use against the American people when he loses the election, is pretty much the final nail. He also advocates for civil war. We should let him rant in peace. No matter how many facts to the contrary, he will never believe Rush lies and will always believe the left is "evil". Why waste anymore time on him. I love to debate, but it's not worth it with someone like Rich."
When you say that someone is "paranoid delusional" that is a pretty strong charge. Actually, talk of "civil war" in America has been out there for quite a long time. Nothing "paranoid" or "delusional" about it, if you've been keeping current on things.
Sully is wrapped in his progressive cocoon and the only information that he gets is through his progressive filter. Time to join the real world Sully.
