Six student choirs from Evanston Township High School will present a Holiday Choir Concert at 2pm on Saturday, December 15, at Lake Street Church of Evanston, 607 Lake St.
The ETHS choirs include the Concert Choir, Chorale, Bazao A Cappella, Circle of 5ths, TrebelMakers, and the Handbell Choir. ETHS music selections will feature holiday music for Christmas, Hannukah, and Kwanzaa, as well as seasonal songs about snow. The choirs are directed by ETHS vocal director Mary Theresa Reed.
Tickets at $10 can be purchased at the door, not in advance.

More About Lake Street Church of Evanston
Lake Street Church of Evanston is a Protestant church that was founded in 1858. Its current Victorian Gothic building was erected in 1875. Its congregation features members of all different races, sexual orientations and religions, with ties in Baptist, Buddhist and Muslim religious communities. The church has several choir and musical groups that perform. It also features summer youth activities and regular yoga sessions. Lake Street Church is also very active in the community, feeding the homeless and offering help to families in need.
