"Evanston, Energy and the Environment: The Answer is Blowing in the Wind" will be the topic of Citizens' Greener Evanston's November Green Drinks program. This timely presentation will examine how the electrical grid works, the environmental costs of fossil fuels, the benefits of renewable energy and the status of the offshore wind park concept.
The program will take place on Tuesday, November 13, 7:00-9:00 pm, at Pete Miller's, 1557 Sherman Avenue, Evanston. The first 100 people to arrive for the presentation will receive a $3-off coupon for food and drink.
There will be an encore presentation on Thursday, November 15, 7:00-9:00 pm, at Curt's Cafe, 2922 Central Street, Evanston.
