The Giver by Lois Lowry

Evanston Public Library, 1703 Orrington Ave, Evanston, IL | Get Directions »
FREE

This summer, the Loft's very own teen theatre troupe, the Bodacious Oracles of Knowledge (B.O.O.K.), presents a stage adaptation of Lois Lowry's haunting, classic dystopic novel, The Giver. Performed entirely by Evanston teens in an empty library space, this spare adaptation written by playwright Eric Coble will feature B.O.O.K.'s signature energy, youthful heart, and creative, ensemble-based staging. It's theatre with a spine.

Performances of The Giver are free to the public. Register to reserve your seat by clicking the date of performance you'd like to attend at this link: www.epl.org/teenevents
