OfficeMax Opens Downtown Evanston Location
The new 5,000 square-foot location at 1612 Sherman Ave. offers business support services as well as the typical offerings of pens, paper, ink and toner.
OfficeMax has opened a new store concept called a "business solutions center" at 1612 Sherman Ave. in downtown Evanston.
Beyond typical offerings such as paper, pens, ink and toner, the store also provides services like web hosting, print and document production, IT and payroll processing.
The new Evanston store, which held a grand opening Tuesday, is the company's second "business solutions center" in the Chicago area. The first such store opened in Streeterville this August.
"With the launch of our new OfficeMax Business Solutions Center, we are pleased to introduce a relationship-based retail service center focused on partnering with Evanston businesses to help them grow,” OfficeMax VP Kristen Muntean said in a press release.
The new 5,000-square-foot location in Evanston also offers computer maintenance and repair, cloud storage and marketing support. Hours are 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
