Say Goodbye to Your City Vehicle Stickers

New technology makes the vehicle stickers obsolete.

It looks like you won't need to renew your car's Evanston city sticker again. The City Council is considering dropping the sticker because new technology on parking enforcement vehicles lets workers quickly check the city's registration database, according to an article in Evanston Now.

The change will be more convenient for residents and save money for the city, which won't have to create or mail out the stickers, the article says.
