Rumor has it that the Evanston Police Dept. is replacing its squad cars with a new type of vehicle that it believes is much more suitable for patrolling around the high school....they have a much more impressive presence and provide additional levels of security for the offices. They are also swarming with video equipment which will permit intensive surveillance of anything around them...and with solar panels they can be parked for days at time.
