Two Illinois County State's Attorneys Permit Concealed Carry

The States Attorneys for Madison and Randolph Counties aren't waiting for Gov. Quinn to sign the Illinois CCW law..they announced that starting June 10 they are following the ruling of the 7th Circuit Appeals Court and will not prosecute concealed carry arrests where the person carrying meets the following criteria: The person must have a valid Firearm Owners Identification Cars (FOID); The person must not be prohibited from possessing a firearm under any Court Order or Statute; The firearm must be concealed on the person, or in a vehicle; The person must not be engaged in any criminal conduct; If stopped by a police officer, the person must immediately notify the officer if he or she is carrying a weapon; The person may not carry a weapon in the courthouse, any school or any church. So it goes......the fact that concealed carry will be permitted is a fact...NOTHING WILL CHANGE THAT AND Cook County and every home rule municipality is PRECLUDED FROM DOING ANYTHING TO ADD LEGISLATION at their level. http://www.guns.com/2013/06/13/illinois-prosecutors-to-allow-concealed-c...
