27 Live Announces New Marketing Director

(Evanston, Il--Aug. 13, 2013--) 27 Live,  a new restaurant and performance venue located at 1012-1014 Church St, Evanston announces the appointment of new Marketing/PR Director, Nili Yelin. Nili begins officially working at 27 Live Mon. Aug. 26th but is already busy behind the scenes getting the word out about this exciting new addition to Evanston's dining and cultural scene.
27 Live is a 14,000-square-foot, two-story concert hall that features local and national punk, blues and rock 'n roll acts. The venue is also a restaurant, serving American comfort food, and whiskey lounge. The venue will be a multi arts performance space as well with kids concerts, live theatre, Ladies Night Out events and Cabaret.

Nili spent 5 years as Marketing and Programming Director at the Wilmette Theatre and is also an award winning children's storyteller known as The Storybook Mom. Nili works closely with the Chicago and North Shore children's entertainment world as well as the theatre, comedy and music talent in Chicago and nationally.
Nili  produces the highly successful staged film reading series, Films For The Ear which just joined 27 Live as its home base and just performed "His Girl Friday" on the 27 Live Stage Aug. 5th to a full house. The production featured David Pasquesi, (VEEP, Second City) and Tim Kazurinsky (The Odd Couple, Saturday Night Live, Police Academy films and Evanston resident).
27 Live will be opening its restaurant later this month of August and already is busy with the performance space featuring a large stage, cabaret seating and a fabulous bar. Upstairs is a whiskey bar which will feature top of the line hand selected brands and intimate musical and comedy performances.
Brunch will be part of the weekend scene as well and there are many series in the works to attract all interests: families, singles, couples, young and not so young!
