Argo Tea Invites You to ParTea with Purpose and Raise Money for Gilda’s Club Chicago

Argo Tea is proud to host a ChariTea partnership event complete with live music, entertainment and a raffle to raise money for Gilda’s Club Chicago. Since 1998, Gilda’s Club has offered free programs to anyone who has been affected by cancer. With the support of community partners like Argo Tea, Gilda’s Club Chicago is able to host free education and entertainment events for men, women and children in the Chicago area. Proceeds from event ticket sales and an on-site raffle will benefit Gilda’s Club Chicago.

Chicago-based Argo Tea supports local charities with its ChariTea program, donating 10% of all sales from featured seasonal drinks to local nonprofit organizations. Past charity partners include Bright Pink, VH1 Save the Music and Sierra Club.

“Everyone has been touched by cancer,” said founder and CEO of Argo Tea, Arsen Avakian.  “Supporting CommuniTEA is a core value of ours and since Gilda’s Club Chicago became our ChariTea partner this past November, we’ve raised over $6,500 in the cafés and have been dedicated toward finding new ways to engage our neighbors and fellow Chicagoans to raise money on their behalf.”

You are invited to attend Argo Tea’s ParTea with Purpose, benefiting Gilda’s Club Chicago, on January 22, 2014 at the Chicago Cultural Center, Preston Bradley Hall from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tickets for the event cost $25 with proceeds going to Gilda’s Club Chicago.
