CUB to host free utility-bill clinic

Looking for ways to save?

The Citizens Utility Board (CUB), Illinois’ premier consumer watchdog group, and state Rep. Robyn Gabel are hosting a free utility-bill clinic to help Evanston consumers save hundreds of dollars in yearly utility costs.

CUB experts will be on hand to look over electric, natural gas and phone bills and provide one-on-one feedback.

The Evanston clinic is part of CUB’s 30th anniversary celebration. Over the last three decades, CUB has helped save consumers more than $10 billion by blocking utility rate hikes and winning consumer refunds.
