Dance Companies Take to the Streets of Evanston for Round Two of On Site: putting dance on the map

This fall, eight local dance companies came together to create two Sundays (October 6 and November 3) of public performances to commemorate and honor the City of Evanston’s 150th anniversary year.  On Sunday, November 3 five dance companies will take to the streets of downtown Evanston for round two of On Site: putting dance on the map, featuring original choreography especially created for specific locations throughout downtown Evanston.  The Evanston Dance Ensemble has been the curator of On Site: putting dance on the map and opens the November 3 performance schedule at 2 p.m. in Raymond Park on Chicago Avenue and will perform a second time at 3:50 p.m.  The four dance companies listed below will be presenting 7-10 minute dance pieces at 2:30 p.m., 2:50 p.m., 3:10 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. at various locations within walking distance of the others:
