Evanston Community Foundation CELEBRATE!EVANSTON Benefit Shines Spotlight on the "Bounty of Evanston"
Oct. 19 Benefit Features Fall-Themed Dessert Contest, “Wizard of Oz” Parody and More!
EVANSTON, Ill. - Evanston Community Foundation hosts its annual Celebrate!Evanston benefit on Sunday, Oct. 19 at the Michigan Shores Club, 911 Michigan Ave., Wilmette from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m. The theme for this year’s benefit is the “Bounty of Evanston”. The evening will feature a fall-themed dessert contest, a theatrical parody of the “Wizard of Oz” featuring local celebrities and an Evanston trivia game.

“Evanston is a resource rich community,” said co-chair Lisa Altenbernd. “The goal of this benefit is to be able to extend the bounty to all parts of Evanston. The money raised at Celebrate!Evanston 2014 will help the Evanston Community Foundation with its mission to thrive now and forever as a just, inclusive and vibrant community.”
