Evanston MashUp-An Evening of Excitement
The 5TH Annual MashUp, Evanston’s premiere party on the lake, kicks off at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 16, under a tent and the stars. The MashUp, coordinated by the Evanston Chamber of Commerce and co-captained by Northwestern University president Dr. Morton Schapiro and Evanston Mayor Elizabeth Tisdahl, brings together academics, business, arts, city and political leaders for an evening of high volume networking and noshing.
Featured during the party are two key awards, the Catalyst Award, saluting an Evanston business chosen by Mayor Tisdahl and President Schapiro and the Spirit of Evanston award which honors an Evanstonian who has made a personal contribution of ideas or services that goes beyond the ordinary.
