FREE Charity Event, Build-A-Backpack Day on Saturday 8/17

Evanston-based charity group Supplies for Dreams is celebrating another successful year of providing school supplies and extracurricular opportunities to low-income students in CPS.

Join us on August 17th between 1pm and 5pm to help package over 4,000 BACKPACKS complete with school supplies for Chicago Public Schools students in need. Enjoy a fun day of meaningful service accompanied by a free lunch buffet from our favorite local restaurants, great live music and entertainment, and games for the whole family.
