Local Resident Gets Chance of a Lifetime

Eileen Alps, a local resident of Evanston, saves as much money as she possibly can. She doesn’t do it for herself, or out of habit.

She does it for the child she wishes to have.

When Eileen left her public school job to teach in the private sector, she took a 50 percent pay cut. Although she loves her new job, she left behind a fantastic benefits package, one that would have covered the In Vitro Fertilization treatments she needs in order to conceive a child. Eileen dreams of saving enough money to be able to pay for these treatments in order to start a family.
