Meet Judge Jerry Esrig Candidate for Cook County 9th Judicial Subcircuit on February 13 in Evanston

Voters will get a chance to hear from Judge Jerry Esrig, candidate for judge of Cook County’s 9th Judicial Subcircuit (Goldberg vacancy), on Thursday, February 13 at the Evanston home of Thom and Kelly Mannard.  The meet and greet will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m.  For more information and to rsvp, contact Sarah Sklare at 847.624.6511 or email info@jerryesrigforjudge.org.

In October of 2013, Judge Esrig was appointed by Illinois Supreme Court Justice Mary Jane Theis to fill a judicial vacancy in Cook County’s Ninth Subircuit.  Prior to the appointment, Esrig worked as a trial lawyer in Chicago for over 30 years representing small and medium-sized businesses in commercial disputes and profoundly injured individuals.  In 1984, he co-founded the firm of Zaideman & Esrig, P.C. which became Epstein, Zaideman & Esrig in 1985.  The firm once again became known as Zaideman & Esrig, P.C. in 1999 when partner Jim Epstein was appointed and then elected to the bench.  Judge Esrig has been endorsed by The Honorable Abner Mikva, Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky, Illinois State Representatives Elaine Nekritz, Daniel Biss, Robyn Gabel, and Laura Fine, Evanston Mayor Elizabeth Tisdahl, Skokie Mayor George Van Dusen and seven out of nine Evanston aldermen.
