"I'm so excited that the St. Joan of Arc community is being recognized as a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence,” said St Joan of Arc principal Carrie Hampson. “Every morning as I greet our students, they are so happy to be here and begin another day of learning with their friends and teachers. I have never experienced such a positive school culture, and it is truly a credit to our students, teachers, and families that we have such an engaging and enthusiastic environment for learning."

The Department of Education will honor 236 public and 50 private schools at a recognition ceremony on Nov. 18-19 in Washington, D.C. To celebrate today’s exciting news – and in true St. Joan of Arc community spirit – every student received a school-spirited blue cupcake.
