Textile Exhibit to Debut at Winnetka Summer Antiques Show

Experience textiles as you’ve never seen them before at the Winnetka Summer Antiques Show, taking place June 6-8 at the Winnetka Ice Arena. Throughout the weekend, a unique display will be open to show attendees showcasing a wide range of beautiful textiles from the exhibiting dealers. Featured pieces will include those served for functional, ceremonial and purely esthetic purposes.

On Saturday at 2pm, Christine Garrett Paschen of Garrett Paschen Ltd. of Evanston will educate show-goers about the history of textiles and their function in today’s world. With over 30 years of experience in the interior design industry, Christine will speak on the use of these intricate pieces of work as decorative art and assist attendees in envisioning textiles in residential spaces.
