Community Offers 2,201 Ideas to Improve Evanston
The ideas were collected as part of the city's 150th birthday.
Evanston residents submitted a total of 2,201 ideas to improve the city for its 150th birthday, exceeding the Evanston150 Committee's goal of a symbolic 2,013 ideas (The city will officially turn 150 in 2013).
The public will be able to vote on the ideas in October to narrow the ideas down to 30. A diverse jury of Evanstonians will then bring the final number down to 10.
