Dog Lovers 'Strut For Strays' Despite the Rain

The annual Strut For Strays brought dogs of all sizes--along with their owners--to Ladd Arboretum in Evanston for a walk to benefit the animal rescue society C.A.R.E.

A parade of pooches came out Saturday morning for Evanston's 17th annual 'Strut For Strays, unfazed by the hazy skies and intermittent rain.

Taking off from , the walk benefited C.A.R.E., an animal rescue society that works in conjunction with to find homes for strays.
