Fall Community Day 2012 on Central Street,Evanston

Central Street Fall Community Day is fast approaching! The Central Street Business Association & The Central Street Neighbors Association are proud to sponsor their Fall Community Day on Central Street Sat. Oct 13th  This shopping and fundraising event takes place during store hours on Sat. Oct. 13th (mostly 10am-5pm)  After great success with Spring Community Day on Central Street The Central Street Business Association decided to do this event  twice a year to maximize the benefit to the community.    On Saturday, Oct 13th,  bring your Community Day Flyer into a participating business on Central Street and they will donate a portion of your purchase to the participating organization of your choice.  Donations range from 10-20% on your purchases.  What could be simpler? You make your regular purchases on Central Street (and maybe a little something extra for you or someone special) and you donate to well-deserving organizations in the community. Keep an eye out for a special invitation from your favorite community organization.  Or, to get your Community Day Flyer with the list of participating organizations and businesses on Central Street, please go to: www.centralstreet-evanston.com  Nothing feels better than crossing something off your to-do list and helping your community at the same time! Central Street Evanston is a vibrant shopping district located in North Evanston on Central Street. Shops line Central Street from just east to west of Green Bay Road. The Central Street Business Association participates in Shop Small Stores, a campaign to support local business and engage with the community. Community Day on Central Street is a great way to give back and support local business at the same time.
