Fire Department Open Houses

October is Fire Safety Month! The Evanston Fire and Life Safety Services will be holding open houses at all five fire stations throughout the city on Sunday, October 9, 2011.

All residents are invited to stop by from 1pm until 4pm to learn what it's like to live and work in a fire station!

Meet the firefighters and see fire engines, fire trucks, ambulances and all the equipment they use to keep the Evanston community safe!

Fire Stations:

Station 1 - 1332 Emerson

Station 2 - 702 Madison

Station 3 - 1105 Central

Station 4 - 1817 Washington

Station 5 - 2830 Central

Following fire prevention tips is a very important part of fire safety. Remember to take extra precautions with flammable materials, regularly check and properly maintain electrical components and make pre-fire plans and participate in fire drills.
