Twilight Historical Kayak Tours

Since 1997, Wateriders has offered historical kayak tours on the Chicago River downtown. This summer, the Evanston Recreation Division and Wateriders are offering a unique look at Evanston’s history and architecture from the peaceful platform of a kayak. No experience is required for this leisurely paddle.

We’ll explore the history of Evanston and its lakefront and how Daniel Burnham’s Evanston-based visions remade our region. Stops include the wreck of the George Morley, the Grosse Point Lighthouse and the Baha’i House of Worship (Temple) in Wilmette. Participating as a couple with our kayak?
