Walk Score analyzed cities with the 200 largest universities for its list of "Top 10 Most Walkable College Towns."
Evanston ranks behind just three other communities as one of the most walkable college towns in the United States, according to Walk Score.
The blog ranked Evanston No. 4 in the U.S. on a recent list of "Most Walkable College Towns," with a "Walk Score" of 74.
Coming in ahead of Evanston was Providence, RI, at No. 3; Berkeley, Ca, at 79; and Cambridge, Ma, at 87, according to Walk Score.
