Evanston Patch Pet: Chris the Cat

Each week, we feature cats and dogs available for adoption from C.A.R.E. Evanston Animal Shelter.

'Chris the Cat' has a super glossy black coat and enjoys being petted. He loooooves catnip. Especially that fancy cosmic kind! Chris the Cat needs time to adapt to new environments, but once he does, he's Mr. Fun Guy.

“Definitely a lap cat,” said Chris's foster mom. “A little on the shy side, but is not so shy that he never ventures out. Would make a very good pet for someone who wants a more laid back cat to cuddle and lounge with."

Chris the Cat is one cool black panther. Come on by  to meet him!

Thanks for the article on Chris. I volunteer at the shelter. Chris is an awesome cate and would make a great pet. Hopefully someone will give him a chance.
