Free Wall of Books at Boocoo

The wall is sponsored by the Evanston Public Library Friends.

From Boocoo:

We're on the other half of summer, but aren't there days when you just want to stay inside, cool down, have a glass of iced coffee or tea and read a good book? Boocoo's Book Wall, a project sponsored by Evanston Library Friends, has plenty of really good titles - hardcovers and paperbacks alike. Choose from fiction or non-fiction subjects, with quite a few children's books for young readers to enjoy too! most of these donated books are available to keep - for free. Others can be read in the Boocoo Cafe or borrowed and brought back.

There's something magical about holding a book and turning the pages - the feel of the front and back covers, the sound of the page turning, and the smell of the materials used to make it. It doesn't matter what type of book you are reading, there is important history in the heft of the binding and pages in your hands. So come over to Boocoo, choose a good mystery, drama or biography, have an iced coffee and lose yourself in the pages of a book from the Boocoo Book Wall! Cafe hours: M-F, 11am to 8pm; Saturdays, 10am to 4pm; Sundays, closed.
