Check out five activities you can do with the whole family this weekend in Evanston.

If you’re looking to spend some time at the Mitchell Museum of the American Indian this weekend but haven’t found a babysitter yet, you’re in luck.  Every Saturday morning from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., the museum hosts arts and crafts for children age four and up. While children learn about the Native American culture through crafts projects, parents can walk around the museum. Admission into the museum is $2.50 for children, students, and senior citizens and $5 for adults.

Looking for an activity to do with the whole family? The Evanston Dance Ensemble’s Youth Dance Company will be performing an original production for the next two weekends at 20 Arts Circle Dr..  Based on works of art, the performance is scheduled for Mar. 11 at 7 p.m., Mar. 12 at 4 p.m. and Mar. 13 at 2 p.m.  Ticket prices vary from $15 to $22.  To reserve tickets either visit the dance company’s website or call (847) 491-7282.
