Unity Church Hosts Author of Minefields and Miracles: Why God and Allah Need to Talk

On Sept. 9, the organization hosted a workshop that encouraged people of all faiths to join together.

Unity Church on the North Shore recently hosted a workshop led by Ruth Broyde-Sharone, an international speaker, author and filmmaker. 

The workshop held on Sept.9 was called Minefields and Miracles: Why God and Allah Need to Talk, and based on the book and film of the same name, written by Broyde-Sharone. 

The two-hour program included dialogue about different faiths, where Broyde-Sharone called people of all religions to action, to come together.

Broyde-Sharone used film, music and dialogue to encouraged those in attendance to work toward healing and reconcilation, as well as celebating diversity and building new relationships.
