Meet Jett, A Jewel of a Cat

Jett was very scared when he came to the shelter many months ago. He's gradually come out of his shell and blossomed with the love from C.A.R.E. volunteers.

A gorgeous, personable long-haired gray cat, Jett can be very talkative. He likes attention, too, as well as fuzzy mice and cat charmers. "What I really love is being petted and cuddle time," Jett says. "Oh, and I love the compliments that I get for my fantastic long, white whiskers."

Jett's Stats:

• Domestic Longthair, 6 years old, Gray & White, Neutered male.
• ASPCA Feline-ality™ Assessment rating:  Green / Leader of the Band
• Jett would do best in a quiet home with children 12 and older and no other pets.
• Jett is microchipped, neutered, and has had a full veterinary checkup and vaccines.

Please come to C.A.R.E., 2310 Oakton St., Evanston, to meet Jett and speak to an adoption counselor. Adoption hours are Monday through Thursday, 6-8 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, noon-3:30 p.m.
