Meet Snickers, the Free-Spirited Pup

Hi! My name is Snickers, and I'm living at C.A.R.E. until I find my forever home. I’m a free-spirited, enthusiastic guy with energy to burn. I’m also sweet, friendly and good-hearted with a want-to-learn attitude. 

The volunteers taking care of me say my joyful attitude is downright contagious. Like many young dogs, I have an inquisitive spirit that can get me in trouble, but training will help me channel my curiosity and help me mature.

I look forward to getting out and enjoying life—there’s so much to do and learn that I can't wait!

Snickers' Stats:

• Lab/Husky Mix, 7 months old, Neutered male.
• ASPCA Canine-ality™ Assessment rating: Green / Go-Getter
• Large size / weighs 50 lbs.
• Children 10 and up.
• No cats, and needs work with dogs (plays agreeably with shelter buddies).  Attendance in D.O.G. Obedience class is required.
• Housebreaking: Minimal housebreaking.
• Snickers is neutered, microchipped and has had a full veterinary checkup and vaccines.

Please come to C.A.R.E., 2310 Oakton St., Evanston, to meet Snickers and speak to an adoption counselor. Adoption hours are Monday through Thursday, 6-8 p.m.; and Saturday and Sunday, noon-3:30 p.m.
