Metra Cancels Four Inbound Trains Tuesday Morning

Extra stops added to other trains.

Metra has cancelled four trains on its Union Pacific North Line and modified the schedule of three others today because of continuing sub zero temperatures, according to the agency’s website.

Trains 306 scheduled to arrive at the Olgivie Transportation Center at 7:17 a.m., 314 set to arrive at 8:02 a.m., 322 scheduled to arrive at 8:35 a.m. and 326 set to pull in at 8:49 a.m. are all cancelled.

Train 308 will add stops at Main Street, Rogers Park and Ravenswood before its scheduled arrival at 7:30 a.m.

Trains 320 pulling in at 8:26 a.m. and 328 arriving at 9:30 a.m. will make all stops between Waukegan and downtown Chicago.

A classic example of why people stay away from public transportation. On the days you need it the most the "system" operates at it's worst.... you know what always runs on time? my car....
