Northbound Ridge Ave. Closed between Greenwood & Davis for Emergency Sewer Repair
All northbound traffic including CTA, Pace and emergency vehicles will not have access on northbound Ridge.
From the City of Evanston:
On Tuesday the City of Evanston's Public Works Department will be closing and detour all northbound lanes of Ridge Avenue at Greenwood. All N/B Traffic including CTA, Pace and Emergency Vehicles will not have access on northbound Ridge. The emergency sewer repairs at Grove and Ridge will take multiple days and the closure will be 24 hours until the sewer work and roadway has been replaced. Traffic will be channeled back onto N/B Ridge at Davis. Both lanes of southbound Ridge will remain open during this project. Please use caution responding through work zones.
The detour streets for traffic will be Greenwood, Oak St. and Davis; all other intersections will have barricades at Asbury and Oak on the east and west.
