Southeast Evanston Power Circuit Ranked One of the Worst
The circuit has been one of the hardest hit in recent storms.
Residents of Evanston's 3rd Ward have been hit hard by recent power outages, with some lasting up to a few days. One reason behind the outages may be a large circuit which is one of the worst in the region according to a 2009-2010 ranking.
The Evanston Review reports that Circuit 4713 is ranked second in the number of outages (31) and first in the number of customers affected (12,240).
