We Asked, You Shared: Best Advice From Dad

What’s the best advice your father ever gave you? That was the question we asked and we received some great responses via social media.

Here are some of our favorites:  

"Wish in one hand and poop in the other. Let me know which one gets full first," Adam Howarth writes of the advice from his father Barry Howarth.

For Chris Hiland, the best advice from his dad was “Choose your battles.”

"If you get a moving violation, I'll take your license." Mark Tisdahl writes that his father’s advice made him a much safer driver at 16 and beyond. 

Tisdahl writes that he did get a moving violation when he was 19 or 20 but by then his father said he was a safe enough driver. “I have no doubt without that threat I would have gotten one sooner.

And this sage advice from Quinetta Birge’s dad, “If it’s too good to be true, it usually is.”
