ABC's 'Betrayal' Filming In Downtown Evanston

Crews were on location shooting scenes at Pete Miller's and the Dawes House Monday.

If you watch ABC’s new show Betrayal this fall, look out for some familiar Evanston locations.

Crews from the drama were on scene at Pete Miller’s Monday afternoon, and planning to head to the Dawes House later that day, according to a crew member who did not wish to be named.

Set in Chicago, the show tells the story of a professional photographer and top attorney who begin an affair and then find themselves on opposite sides of a murder trial, according to ABC’s website. Stars include Hannah Ware, Stuart Townsend, Chris Johnson and James Cromwell, among others.

Pete Miller’s entrance was draped with black curtains as crew members with walkie-talkies went in and out Monday afternoon. They were filming a scene about a retirement party for a character named Larry, according to the crew member.

Later on Monday, the Dawes House will serve as the home of a character named Thatcher Karsten, the crew member said. ABC describes Karsten as “a powerful but somewhat shady entrepreneur” whose brother-in-law is murdered.
