This year, Evanston Day Nursery (EDN) celebrates 100 years of enriching the lives of Evanston area families and the community by providing high quality child care.  The school is marking its centennial on Saturday, May 12 from 7 to 10:30 p.m. at a benefit at the Evanston Art Center (at 2603 Sheridan Road).  An hors d’oeuvres supper, entertainment by the lively South Boulevard Band, and a silent auction are planned. 

Guests will bid on tickets to Disney World, numerous gift certificates, a guided tour of Devon Avenue shops (with the fitting of a sari), front row balcony tickets to a performance of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and more.

Tickets are $50 per person.  They may be obtained by mailing a request for tickets and a check to Evanston Day Nursery, 1835 Grant Street, Evanston IL 60201 or by calling 847/864-9700.
