EPL Hosts Changing Worlds' Oral History and Photography Exhibit

The Evanston Public Library (EPL) is delighted to host an astounding interactive oral history exhibit on the immigrant experience courtesy of Changing Worlds. The exhibit will be housed on the third floor (east-end) from June 18th-29th. This event is co-sponsored by the City of Evanston Parks & Recreation.

Through the stories of immigrants and refugee families, Changing Worlds' oral history and photography traveling exhibit gives voice and a face to those often seen and heard through the filters of stereotype and prejudice, and offers an introduction to diverse cultures.

For 15 years, Changing Worlds has partnered with more than 50 public schools, community-based and civic organizations in Chicago and beyond. Annually, it reaches more than 10,000 students, and community members through its combined arts and cultural awareness programs.
