Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting Celebrating Delbe's Corner

Join Mayor Elizabeth Tisdahl along with the Downtown Evanston Board of Directors, the Evanston Chamber of Commerce and staff in celebrating a new restaurant Delbe’s Corner on Wednesday, March 28 at 5:00 pm.  All are welcome to attend the celebration at 1100 Davis Street in downtown Evanston where guests can sample tasty treats and coffees.

Located on the corner of Davis and Oak in downtown Evanston, Delbe’s Corner is a casual sandwich and coffee shop offering many types of sandwiches, including egg varieties for breakfast, turkey, beef, salami and veggie; chili and a variety of pastries are also on the menu.  At Delbe’s the sandwiches are steamed, a process which fuses both the texture and flavor. You’ll also find Argentinian croissants and whole bean coffee from Chicago Coffee Roastery available for purchase.

After two successful years in Florida, owners and operators Natasha Young-Delbrouque and Samuel Delbrouque moved their restaurant to Evanston and have been quite happy with the decision. “I grew up in Evanston where the people are great and open to trying new things,” said Young-Delbrouque.

“My husband and I crave steamed sandwiches, so we opened our own place,” Young-Delbrouque said. You’ll find her welcoming customers and serving uniquely named specialty sandwiches like “Black Belt” and “Tasha’s Secret”.

Delbe’s Corner is located at 1100 Davis Street and is open Tuesday – Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Saturday 8:00am – 5:00pm and Sunday 9:30am – 5pm.  Dine-in, carry out and free Wi-Fi are available: 847-424-1006. The Downtown Evanston Gift Card is accepted and special deals are offered on the Passport to Downtown Evanston App.
