Green Gifting Winter Workshops

You can create your own eco-friendly gifts this season! Whether it's for a birthday, Christmas, Chanukah or Kwanzaa, you can make your own candles or learn how to make wrapping paper that can last for years. You will go home with your finished products, new skills, and instruction sheets.

Both workshops will be held from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday evenings at the Evanston Ecology Center, 2024 McCormick Blvd. The candle making workshop will be held Dec. 13 and the Reusable Wrap workshop takes place on Dec. 20. The fee is $20 per session (Evanston Environmental Assoc. members receive a $5 discount). The workshop is suitable for ages 16 years and older. For more information or to register, please call (847) 448-8256 or register online here>>>.
